A kitchen extension is added to the rear of the existing single storey house together with some re-modelling of the interior. The extension establishes a relationship between house and garden and with its ‘butterfly’ roof creates a new form for the house. The project is an example of how a relatively small extension can transform a house and makes its interior spaces seem much larger and better organized.
