Henrietta Street is the single most intact and important architectural collection of houses forming a street in Dublin. Number 15 is one of a group of three houses built by Luke Gardiner in the 1740’s. In its original form number 15 was a reverse plan of number 14, but was divided in two in 1828 to form numbers 15 and 16. Number 16 was subsequently demolished in 1950. The project, which has spanned seven years, has been concerned with the conservation of the existing building for use by Na Píobairí Uilleann, for the promotion of Uilleann pipe making and playing.
